Things to do with dad this weekend

Sunday marked the annual day we set aside to honor dads everywhere by taking it for lunch, calling him a round of golf or just leaving him alone with his remote control.

In case you're standing still and do not know what to do this weekend with Dad, here's a list of suggestions:

Go running with Dad

Event Management zealous held Father's Day 5K Run for families, for the benefit of the Sacramento area Emergency Housing Center in Minneapolis on Sunday.

The Sacramento Area Emergency Housing Center is a center for homeless people, one of two in the region, which allows fathers to stay with their families when they become homeless, according to Jessica Fuentes event management zealous.

Race-day registration begins at 7:30 and the race will begin at 9 pm at the Sculpture Park, 350 N. Sunrise Ave. Sunday morning.

Jogging strollers will be allowed on the course with the runners and walkers. Children to be held or pushed in strollers do not have to register and there is no cost for children who do not want a T-shirt or being timed, Fuentes said.

Small animals performed well on a leash are welcome. The registration fee is $ 25 for adults and $ 15 for children 12 and under.
